Longtime NJBIA member Saiber LLC on Tuesday announced the addition of Marc D. Freedman as member and Steven M. Friedland as counsel in a relocation that strengthens the Florham Park law practice's Business Services and Employment practices.

Both attorneys join Saiber from the shop company Freedman & Friedland LLC of Hasbrouck Heights, bringing years of experience in business and employment law, especially within the staffing market.

Freedman, an experienced business lawyer, joins the firm's Business Services group as a member. With an extensive background in work and business law and mergers & acquisitions, he brings deep understanding of the legal and business issues affecting staffing business and other industries.

He previously served as basic counsel and senior executive officer for among the biggest public business in the momentary work sector. His extensive experience consists of business acquisitions, securities compliance, labor relations, defending companies in discrimination matters and class actions, restrictive covenant lawsuits, threat management, and strategic consulting for senior executives.

Freedman is currently basic counsel to the New Jersey Staffing and formerly served in similar roles with national staffing associations.

Friedland will sign up with the firm as counsel in the Litigation practice group. With a focus on employment law and lawsuits, he brings over twenty years of experience defending companies in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts and administrative firms, along with representing organizations in commercial lawsuits.

He likewise frequently counsels customers on day-to-day work environment matters and drafts numerous arrangements, policies, and compliance materials. Previously, Friedland practiced work and labor law at 2 firms with a national existence.
